This cottage is perfect, for rest, fishing, the facilities (including Jacuzzi!) but above all for the unique welcome from Lesley and Jonathan, available, helpful, discreet.
Despite the wet weather, we had a wonderful week as a family. Traditions were respected for the carp catches!

Exceptional place in a magnificent setting.
The warm welcome from Lel and John made our stay even more pleasant. The house is both comfortable and perfectly equipped. Special mention to John for kindly lending us his fishing equipment, with which we were able to catch two superb carp.
A place that I highly recommend to lovers of nature, fresh air, fishing and relaxation. An unforgettable experience!

This is our second time here. Already booked for next year. Lel and Jon are fabulous hosts and lovely people. Make you so welcome and will do everything to ensure you have a great time.
Gite is amazing, fishing superb ( actually caught this time) Some fish over 30lbs. Pool and jacuzzi are a bonus. Love this place. Family of 4 adults 16 and 14 yr girls

Great place to stay and to fish. Everything was well laid out and clean. The fishing was superb with Jon giving great advice on tactics and fishing spot. Both Lel and Jon were great hosts and always on hand should you need them. Highly recommended.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We had the food package and me being a vegetarian didn't faze lel at all. The Gite was beautiful and so was the lake. My husband enjoyed fishing and caught numerous carp. Will definitely recommend and we will be returning

I can’t recommend Les Ravalieres enough, I wasn’t fishing, just having a break in the countryside with family. From clear communication while booking, followed by a warm welcome on arrival, it was the perfect place to explore the beautiful French countryside. Lel and Jon are great hosts, and it was lovely getting to know them. I’ll be back!

Les Ravalieres offers a unique holiday package; This beautiful lake is tucked away in a corner of the Loire Valley near to the village of Livré la Touche. Jon and Lel Miller have worked really hard to provide a perfect holiday package: Especially for those who love to fish as well as providing a luxury family holiday accommodation. Access is through manoir style gates into a secluded courtyard and for us being able to park nearby, safely and securely was a real bonus. The lake itself is gated and is set in a beautiful natural environment and is extremely well managed. Whether you are fishing or just enjoying the peace and tranquility of this lovely spot everything is close to hand.
The services offered at the gite are uncompromising, holidaying and relaxing here is made “easy”. For those who fish: It is even easier as there are bait packages to purchase and fishing accessories for your use, all the swims are clearly marked and it is evident that a programme of maintenance and preparation are continuous. These people work really hard to provide this unique holiday destination.
We spent a week here and felt completely relaxed when we left, as they offered an ideal balance between fishing and relaxing.

Fishing was slow to start with ,due to the heat. But as soon as the temperature cooled, they wanted to feed.

Would highly recommend! Beautiful Gite, lovely area and the most wonderful hosts you could wish for. We had a brilliant holiday, my husband caught lots of big carp, my son and I loved the hot tub and swimming pool. We had the food package and the food was amazing, we loved every meal and the desserts were incredible. There are lots of things to do in the local area, so we had fun days out too. Will definitely be returning xx

Just got back home from a fantastic week with Jon and Lel staying in the Gite , accommodation was first class , with amazing garden pool and jacuzzi, perfect for the wives while we where fishing.
Caught some big fish in perfect condition, Jon was happy to go through where all the best spots to fish where , excellent clean looked after lake and swims , can’t praise Jon and Lel enough for their hospitality, nothing was a problem, see you both next year x

The lake is very well maintained and the fishing was great with some wonderful fish and the hosts lel and Jon are so welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning. We got home yesterday after an amazing week in Jon & Lel's gite. We booked the gite along with the lake. My dad and his friend were fishing and the rest of us stayed in the gite. It was our first holiday as parents with a 4 year old, she had an amazing time along with us all. 5 stars for every part of the holiday, the hosts were amazing and we will be returning in the future. The attention to all details, including day trips and places we can go for a bit of fun. Cannot recommend this place enough. My daughters first time fishing and catching a fish. The laughs we had along with the owners. Everything was perfect it felt like home to us. Much love to you both and we will see you in the future xxx

We enjoyed a lovely week at Jon and Lel's place, spending time fishing or relaxing at the property, as well as visiting the nearby towns and villages. The Gite is perfect, has everything you could imagine and is fitted out to a super high standard. The grounds and beautiful ! Jon and Lel are great hosts and its clear they want you to enjoy your stay at their place. Overall highly recommended.

We had a brilliant week fishing here on a drive and survive basis (with meal package, which was amazing home cooked food! Particular favourite was the key lime pie and also their freshly made nann breads!). We had great facilities (incl. kitchen, outdoor covered seating area and a nice shower room). We caught several carp up to 41lb, some lovely looking fish! Lel and Jon were very nice and perfect hosts, they would get as excited as us when a carp was caught, especially when a carp that hadn't been out the lake for a while was caught. All in all I would definitely recommend Les Ravalieres to any carp angler who wants a peaceful, relaxing carp fishing holiday, with lovely hosts. They also have an amazing gite (with swimming pool, hot tub, lovely rooms etc, this would be perfect for a family holiday). We will be back and when we do, the meal package will be bought again!
